The Modernisation Fund and the Voscur Partnership Bursary Scheme
These schemes aimed to support voluntary and community organisations to modernise in order to become more sustainable and deliver new and better services in an era of change. Vivid undertook short contracts with a range of advice, arts, youth and rights organisations, providing a number of services including facilitating strategic planning events, exploring partnership working and giving funding advice. Clients included Bristol Mediation, Imayla, Tribe of Doris, Circomedia, Age Concern, The Brigstowe Project, Bristol Citizens Advice Bureau and Artivists.
Gloucester Law Centre
Gloucester Law Centre contracted Vivid to revive a dormant advice agency network, and to assist a smaller core group of advice agencies in Gloucestershire to develop a joint tender to deliver advice services under a Legal Services Commission (LSC) contract. We successfully engaged a wide range of specialist and generalist voluntary organisations providing advice throughout the county, undertook consultation and facilitated a launch meeting of Gloucestershire Legal Services Network. We also brokered collaborative work leading to a successful LCS tender.

Completed an options paper and presented to trustees to analyse the viability of merger partners and the implications for capacity to deliver and improve/expand frontline advice services. Organised and delivered a consultation event with volunteers and staff. Supported staff to successfully apply to Legal Services Commission through a collaborative approach with Gloucester CAB.
